Much to agree with here, and much to disagree with, especially the historical analyses. But a good read.

Anthony Brain apply Trotskyism for today and tommrow!

Trotsky defined our epoch of war and revolution which consists of  abrupt changes left and right.  The period and conjuncture essentially has this character more so than ever.  He argued that new objective crisis of capitalism such as an economic depression getting worse or outbreak/defeat in war leads to a left upheaval of millions of workers and sizable middle class elements.  The general election of December 12th was a big political defeat for millions of workers; and large layers of working/middle class youth. This defeat can be reversed if we understand what led to it.

In my opinion the different sectional interests in the British capitalist class over whether to stay aligned with the EU or American capitalism, and the degenerate workers’ state of China could carry potentially for several months/years even upto  a pre-revolutionary crisis where they have to resolve it to avoid the revolutionary climax which threatens the…

It is quite possible that beneath the surface of an electoral triumph of the right hides a spontaneous revolt like that of the Yellow Vests.

The real problems will hatch over the bourgeois mire and its servants.

The obvious contradiction between the program of a blind bourgeoisie that thinks it can do anything because it has won elections for lack of a clean left-wing candidate becomes an international phenomenon.

I know very little about the concrete situation in the UK and therefore I can only express myself by analogies, by wishes, by inferences.

Even so, the form that will render such a revolt in the UK, if it occurs, will incorporate even more of the lessons of this revolt than it already does, here in France, which is theoretically and practically outdated.

The December strike, despite its limited character, though significant a qualitative change, set the bar higher along the line drawn by the Yellow Vests.

The Yellow Vests (in my opinion the stage that opens up before the British workers), whose struggle had the great merit of opening up a new perspective, of having opened up and paved the way, of having broken the cork that contained the revolt that very quickly turned into the consciousness of the working class.

Not enough, this is the business of the patient who is missing, and only partly, the French strike of December has so far only brought in the most organized and combative battalions of the working class.

But it will be from this point that the other demonstrations will start. If it comes as I hope, that of the working class living in the UK, necessarily to lead it even higher, even further. It moves forward in stages but in an uninterrupted way, dragging and exciting and making the whole world working class think about its strength and its future.

How proud to be part of it!

There is a problem in this blog, you can’t edit aand mistakes goes as it x-were wrongly written.

It shoul be red “Not enough, that should be the business of the PARTY” and not of the “patient”. Full stop.
Then “Only partially” and not “and only partly”
    Sorry for it.
